Corporate Client banking and Specialized Industries, CCBSI, is a business that is a challenger to fellow banks and a springboard for India headquartered names to achieve their global aspirations.


As a CCBSI TS Associate, the role is to challenge status quo and blending local insights with global strengths to carve differentiators that help a global player like JP Morgan establish itself as a locally relevant player too.

The role requires results for New Acquired Sales (New business booked) and Realized Revenue through client liaison, product engagement and solution structuring.

The role holder is an effective communicator who straddles both internal and external relationships, thinks and acts strategically and will also cover for the TMO in their absence.

The role helps achieve and embed automation initiatives and solutions to improve the client experience of onboarding and transacting.


Job responsibilities

Business Results
  • Work with the TMO to track growth of names in the pipeline, conversion of Opportunities to mandates and TS penetration within CCBSI as financial difference makers

Client / Customer / Stakeholder - Work with TMO to Identify and deliver appropriate TS solutions that address the needs of clients. Undertake Client DEMOs for online TS channel and solutions

Process Management - Create efficiencies in implementation, operations, and service to reduce on-boarding times, manage ramp and post-sales engagement.

Governance:


  • Able to prepare submissions for, and present at, forum like CDMC, AML EC etc. Also looked upon to respond to any questions come in during audit and/or from the regulator

Deal Management

  • Effective management of Catalyst Platform for pipeline management, tracking of deal stage, tracking conversion of new names etc.

Revenue Ramp tracking
  • Coordinate with regional business management team to get required details to track TS revenue at a client and deal level for India and overseas. Liaise with overseas teams to action points resulting from underramping

Product - mapping client needs to existing product suite, highlighting gaps to product teams, evaluate pricing tiers for relevance to in-country client asks, complete ongoing trainings to remain up to date

Serve as a mentor to the TS Analyst in the team

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Prior experience in Cash Management and/or Trade across Sales or Product or Service or Operations.
  • Should be comfortable with an environment having constant change
  • Strong communication skills given this is also a client facing role
  • Ability to provide regular reporting to senior stakeholders
  • Inclusive leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across different groups and regions
  • Prior experience with mentoring juniors and managing people

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Familiarity with internal transaction processing systems and underlying regulations and processes in the areas of cash management and/or trade
  • Familiarity with Cash, Trade and Fx products and solutions in India and across the JP Morgan Global network
