    Description

    We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Structural Engineer to join our team on a freelance basis. As a Marine Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for providing expert consultation and engineering solutions for a variety of marine-related projects.

    Responsibilities

    • Conducting thorough structural analysis and design for marine structures including offshore platforms, ports, harbors, piers, jetties, and marine vessels.
    • Developing detailed engineering plans, drawings, and specifications in compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Performing feasibility studies and risk assessments for marine construction projects.
    • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including architects, naval architects, and project managers to ensure successful project delivery.
    • Conducting site inspections, assessments, and providing technical support during construction phases.
    • Utilizing advanced software tools and computational methods for structural analysis and design optimization.
    • Providing expert advice and recommendations to clients on structural integrity, maintenance, and repair of marine infrastructure

    Qualifications

    • Postgraduate degree in Structural Engineering or Marine Structure.
    • Minimum 15 years of experience in marine structural engineering.
    • Proficiency in structural analysis software such as STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, or similar.
    • Strong understanding of relevant industry codes and standards (e.g., API, AISC, ASCE, DNV).
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
