A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THE ROLE AND TEAM


Reporting into a UK Designer, you'll be working in a team of eight, mostly based in London, You will be Working alongside an Senior Account Manager, Senior Designer, Designer, Copywriter, Motion Graphics Designer and an Integrated Designer.

You love a creative challenge. Being able to offer practical solutions to design briefs is second nature to you. You're keen to work closely with the designers and develop a good understanding of the complexities around working together. Getting involved with the day-to-day as well as thinking about the bigger picture is something you relish.


WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE

  • You will produce high quality artwork in line with a given brief and industry standards for both print and digital formats.
  • You will work collaboratively in a team to develop and execute innovative ideas.
  • You will have a good understanding of typography, space, and layout as well as text formatting.
  • You will have a good working knowledge of creating artwork for print, including colour management, alongside digital creation skills.
  • You will have a strong working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Creating simple gifs and animation for social and digital OOH
  • Creating and adapting assets for social media including Meta and Google
  • Developing PowerPoint presentations and designing layouts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Work closely with and support the creative team as a whole to follow designs and artwork from their conception to final signoff
  • Create visual concepts and retouch images to ensure they meet print and web standards, such as colour, typography and image libraries
  • Correct and format documents before they're sent to the printers Ensure print ready artwork is consistent, accurate and follows any brand guidelines
  • Adapt design for variable formats in digital print
  • Set up, manage and archive accurate artwork files and supply to relevant stakeholders
  • Carry out proof checking prior to print
  • Create digital assets to size and scale
  • Adapt existing artwork to alternative layouts and/or formats.

WHAT SKILLS WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL

  • Excellent artworking skills across integrated media and experience in management of artwork collateral of at least 23 years
  • The ability to take, interpret and deliver creative artwork and presentation projects.
  • A great team player with a client centric focus and the ability to build strong and effective working relationships
  • A keen eye for brand consistency across multiple jobs
  • Prior experience working in a fastpaced environment, ability to step into projects as needed.
  • Strong typography, layout, and technical skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Languages: English.
