    Description

    Job Responsibilities:

    • with Marketing & Business Teams to ascertain opportunities for filing patent oppositions.
    • options for filing Pre-grant oppositions or third-party observations with law firms.
    • law firms in preparing arguments on technical front with respect to patent litigation and patent oppositions.
    • patent watch- Monitoring the IP filed by competitor entities.
    • of documents to be filed in the court during Litigation.
    • of cease & desist letters to be sent to patent infringers.
    • with cross functional teams for gathering market information, competitor sample availability.
    • due diligence
    • of report on Competitor company profile (Product portfolio, sales, markets etc).
    • patent infringers on relevant websites s part of Patent Enforcement globally.
    • support to internal teams for Patent landscape & portfolio reports.

    Required Education and Experience:

    • 10-15 years of relevant experience (Law firms experience preferred)
    • in chemistry (MSc) OR Pharmaceutical sciences (M. Pharma)
    • Diploma in IPR, Patent agent, LLB is preferred.
    • understanding & interpretation on patent law, competitor market watch, exposure of interaction with Lawyers & Senior counsels. Designing strategies for patent opposition and patent enforcement.
    • Interpersonal skill required to interact with cross functional teams, Internal (Marketing, Business Teams) & External stake holders (Law Firms- Attorneys & Senior Counsel).
