    ServiceNow App Engine Developer


    Job Description:


    A ServiceNow App Engine Developer plays a key role in designing, building, and implementing custom applications using the ServiceNow platform's App Engine functionality.

    This role bridges the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring efficient process automation and improved functionalities within the ServiceNow Gather requirements:

    Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their specific needs and translate them into actionable technical specifications for application development.


    • Design and develop applications: Utilize ServiceNow's App Engine Studio and relevant tools to build custom applications, workflows, and integrations that address the identified requirements.
    • Coding and Scripting: Possess strong programming proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and familiarity with ServiceNow's scripting languages like Glide.
    • Integration and Automation: Develop integrations with external systems and automate processes using the ServiceNow platform's capabilities.
    • Testing and Deployment: Implement thorough testing procedures to ensure the functionality and quality of the developed applications before deployment.
    • Maintenance and Support: Provide ongoing maintenance and support for deployed applications, addressing any issues or bugs that may arise.

    Required Skills:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
    • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification (highly desirable).
    • Minimum experience in developing applications on the ServiceNow platform (3+ years).
    • Strong understanding of ITIL framework and best practices.
    • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and experience with ServiceNow scripting languages (Glide).
    • Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
    • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
