Position description:


  • Key contributor in building automotive cyber security capability.
  • Collaborate with the stakeholders to establish and operate Cyber Security Management System
  • Provide direction from Cyber Security perspective and contribute to build Software Update Management Systems
  • Implement product security best practices to
  • Perform TARA
  • Identify the risks and provide advisory to stakeholders on resolution
  • Participate in the discussions to identify the best alternatives to address the gaps / security risks.
  • Identify the residual risks and advise stakeholders on the risk acceptance.
  • Work with the product development teams to create the specifications for Invehicle, Connectivity (including OTA/FOTA) and connectivity backend.
  • Create a product testing methodology as well as a testing environment
  • Own and drive the product security testing and resolution of the identified security gaps in a time bound manner
  • Create and manage appropriate process / procedures
  • Oversee the necessary technology components from Cyber Security perspective to secure the product ecosystem.
  • Own the quality of Cyber Security deliverables in security the products.
  • Contribute towards building Cyber Security protection & detection mechanisms including integration of vehicle security monitoring capability with the SOC.
Support in Cyber Security incident response


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Very good understanding of automotive product lifecycle
  • Ability to perform TARA
  • Ability to create security specification documents for CAN, ECU etc.
  • Experience is performing product testing which includes components such as BLE security, WiFi Security, CAN testing
  • Knowledge of security testing for connectivity solution including security for OTA/FOTA
  • Knowledge of ISO 21434, UN Regulation R155 and R15
  • Good understanding of V model in automotive software development
