Description

Spriggen Gardener, located in Kochi provides various services such as Garden Maintenance, Landscaping, Balcony Gardening and Urban Gardening. The Horticulture Officer will supervise the setup and maintenance of the Spriggen Gardener services with a team of gardeners.

The role holder is responsible for multiple sites and will interact with the clients to ensure satisfaction of contracted work to ensure Spriggen Gardener revenue streams are operating smoothly.

General Duties and Responsibilities

Provide professional advice on the selection, ordering, planting, and maintenance of trees, shrubs, ground covers, and turf grasses required at various site
Prepare order for various types of plants and seeds as required for projects
Supervise and train ground personnel in the techniques of pruning, weeding, wound dressing, cavity repair, and the cabling and bracing of trees and shrubs.
Maintain inventories, maps, and labels trees and shrubs on campus for instructional and maintenance purposes
Manage the preparation of maintenance programme for the control of plant diseases, soil health, insects and climatic conditions
Ensure irrigation and drainage facilities as appropriately required
Create work schedules for gardeners
Confer with Landscape Architect and Project Manager and other personnel in the selection of plants
