Investment Ops Analyst

The Investment Operations Analyst assists with operational activities for the investment function, supporting the management of capital on behalf of pensions, endowments, corporate plan sponsors, and other institutional investors.

Working under close supervision, this job assists with various operational processes pertinent to trade processing, settlements, securities transfer and record maintenance.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Performs basic asset management operational processes including trade processing, settlements, and securities transfers, ensuring quality, accuracy and completeness.
Researches basic investment account issues and resolves routine issues.
Monitors investors accounts and coordinates with custodians and external managers.
Prepares financial statements and performance reports for investors.
Maintains compliance documentation to help ensure compliance with investment restrictions, laws, Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC), and tax codes.

The Nuveen, Data Analysis job supports the organization's global customer relationship management (CRM) technology instance for sales reporting. The job is responsible for supporting the organization's global distribution teams by addressing user requests, enhancing user experience, providing user training, and maintaining data integrity of the platform. While working independently under general supervision, this job assists in the implementation of business processes and improvements that drive customer satisfaction, mitigate risk and ensure compliance. This position is also responsible for collecting data sources, analyzing key data and information, monitoring data quality to meet information system needs and requirements.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Meets with business and technology teams to ascertain system requirements, such as program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, execution of users acceptance and may coordinate testing, and system techniques and controls.
Maintains sales and marketing statistics and tracks programs to evaluate effectiveness.
Reviews and updates data within the customer relationship management (CRM) technology to ensure data adheres to data standards.
Ensures implementation of data quality processes and ensures sign off on datarelated changes.
Participates in data validation and cleaning to ensure the quality and integrity of data.
Works in partnership with information technology (IT) partners to design and document solutions to bridge the gaps, and provides detailed business requirements for CRM developers.
Documents and maintains test plans to assess business processes.
