    Position Overview:

    The Boeing Company is looking for a Lead Product Support Engineer , for Electronics Product team located at Bangalore , India Boeing India Engineering as a specialist for hardware displays and its sensors development and modifications for aerospace and defense applications

    Position Responsibilities:

    The successful candidate will perform the following duties:

    You will be responsible for the development of product sustenance of fielded electronics hardware and its firmware for avionics application in close co-ordination with software, firmware, mechanical and certification authorities. You will engage into resolutions over fielded display hardware products to sustain the products at factory and on field. You will work with other concurrent engineering teams such as software and certification authorities to prove compliance upon developed and modified hardware through traceability and related tools.

    • Develops problem resolution technical approach and solutions for Display hardware resolutions
    • Develops and identifies factory resolutions for Display hardware
    • Provides resolutions in close co-ordination with Systems and Software team over sensor and other instrumentation needs to validate the display output.
    • Provides system requirements decomposition and traceability for specific display hardware LRU (Line Replaceable Unit).
    • Performs HW-SW co-verification and integrates display hardware to show compliance to requirements for the complete LRU.
    • Manages small to medium projects with minimal mentorship from Program Group
    • Leads project reviews with Larger Program Teams through events such as PDR, CDR and TRR
    • Lead technical scope development through robust traceable compliance metrics and standards
    • Responsible to understand and report the project technical plan to progress against TPMs decided
    • Responsible to show compliance over display hardware developments to certification authorities.
    • Responsible to co-ordinate with supply chain/sourcing and regulatory authorities for hardware development globally
    • Works with Testing and infrastructure team to develop Support Test Equipment, modify them and use them to show compliance over hardware development
    • Performs technical resolution amongst multiple stakeholder inputs, aligns priority upon technical resolutions based on field failure metrics and delivers change impact scenarios for technical resolutions.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience) :

    • Bachelor's Degree or higher is required.
    • 13+ years of direct project management experience in technical product development environments for Electronic products comprising firmware
    • Lead hardware development over display products, communication products and Data center products
    • Experience in doing product changes through documentations with certification authorities

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience) :

    Experience with FAA (commercial) or defense airworthiness certification requirements and good understanding of CAR Requirements

    Typical Education & Experience:

    Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 13 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+12 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.)

    This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility within INDIA.
