    Description

    Position : Senior Consultant - Telecom Testing

    Location : Pune, Bangalore, Mumbai, : 7 - 8 years

    Notice Period : 0-30 days

    Note : Contract to hire position (Initially for 6 months after that you will get the permanent hiring on your performance Summary :


    As a Senior Consultant in Telecom Testing, you will be responsible for leading and executing testing activities across various telecom projects. Your role will involve analyzing requirements, designing test strategies, developing test plans, executing test cases, and ensuring the quality of deliverables. Additionally, you will provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to the testing team members, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards in telecom testing.

    Description :

    At least 10 + years of experience in Telecom Testing background
    • OSS and BSS applications knowledge is must
    • Should have strong analytical approach towards the requirement analysis, test planning, test designing, execution follow-up, tracking issues to
    Necessary updates :
    • Good in billing system,
    • Should have basic hands on the e2e testing journey.
    • Good in testing concept
    • Excellent in Telecom Domain
    Necessary updates :
    • Only Telecom Domain
    • Only Telecom testing
    • No RAN testing exp i.e. networking
    • No Testing designer experience required.
    • Total 7 to 8 + years of experience
    • Rel yrs. exp 4 to 5yrs in Telecom Testing background
    • OSS and BSS applications knowledge is must.

    • Basic Unix/SQL experience
    Key Responsibilities :
    • Analyze project requirements and develop comprehensive test strategies and plans for telecom testing projects.
    • Design, develop, and execute test cases to validate telecom network components, systems, and applications.
    • Conduct functional, regression, performance, and interoperability testing of telecom solutions.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand system requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
    • Identify and document defects, track their resolution, and verify fixes.
    • Perform root cause analysis of defects and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
    • Lead and mentor testing team members, providing technical guidance, coaching, and support.
    • Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and tools in telecom testing and incorporate them into the testing processes.
    • Participate in client meetings, workshops, and presentations to discuss testing progress, issues, and recommendations.
    • Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency and and Skills :
      • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Telecommunications, or related field.
      • Master's degree preferred.
      • 5+ years of experience in telecom testing with a strong understanding of telecom networks, protocols, and technologies.
      • Proficiency in testing tools such as HP ALM, JIRA, Selenium, or similar tools.
      • Hands-on experience with telecom testing methodologies including GSM, CDMA, LTE, VoIP, SIP, etc.
      • Experience in test automation and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl, Shell scripting).
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
      • Leadership skills with the ability to lead and mentor a team of testing professionals.
      • Certifications such as ISTQB Certified Tester, Agile Tester, or similar certifications are a plus.
      • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
