- Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of the Company's financial reporting requirements.
- Prepares and finalize accounts for India subsidiary in a timely, accurate, and complete manner.
- Manages account reconciliation and journal entry preparation, review entries for proper accounting and adherence to GAAP principles.
- Meet deadlines for month end close cycles, including review and explanation of variances.
- Manage the external audit, prepare schedules, identify, and correct errors; and ensure conformance with applicable statues, laws, and GAAP.
- Familiar with India tax and compliance regulations
- React to changes in the business and in the relevant accounting framework by modifying existing controls and designing new controls.
- Assist with AR, AP and Treasury Matters where necessary.
- Identifies areas in Current Business Processes to Automate and Improve to gain efficiencies in the day-to-day activities.
- Partner with various teams within the company including Sales, FP&A, Treasury, HR, IT and Sales Support.
- Plan, assign, direct and appraise work of direct reports.
- Provide training to new and existing staff as needed.
- All other duties as assigned.
- 10+ years of finance/accounting with 5+ years of public accounting experience.
- 3+ years management experience.
- Strong Experience in Compliance.
- Strong knowledge on Indian Tax System (GST; Corporate Tax, Income Tax).
- Strong People Manager Skills.
- Strong Experience in Auditing.
- Advanced excel skills and the ability to perform complex calculations independently.
- Strong Planning, project management and execution skills, with the ability to direct and influence.
- Strong process, systems, and technology experience with good problem-solving skills.
- Excellent technical accounting and analytical skills.
- Team player who is capable of both performing detailed analysis and investing in team development
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal and organizational skills; hands-on, able to multi-task.
- Self-starter with a continuous-improvement mindset and the ability to think outside the box.
- The maturity, judgment, confidence, and presence needed to establish rapport and credibility with management, customers, suppliers, and other key business partners.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience.
- Experience in FP&A, Treasury, AR, AP
- Certified Public Accountant or Chartered Accountant.
