- As a Java Technical Lead you will be Leading one of our small technical teams and you will get to work on exciting projects that are disrupting the fitness industry, be able to explore new technologies and be given all the tools you need to carry out your role.
- You will analyze, architect and implement new modules for the product
- You will integrate our product with our partners' platforms, including authentication, webhooks and data feeds.
- You will run continuous integration and deployment to test your services and work closely with other developers to rapidly integrate your code into other microservices
- You will manage your own releases and deployment testing
- Participate in daily stand up meetings
- Help and facilitate resolving obstacles for team
- Work closely with product owners in the design process in micro iterations
- Working closely with QA team to ensure platform quality and facilitate releases
- To work in a fast moving environment with a innovative and leading edge product

Competencies, Traits and Experience
To perform this job successfully, you must be willing and able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily:
● Have a solid foundation as a Java developer
● Have experience with Spring Boot
● Have 6+ years of experience as a developer in general
● Strong experience designing and developing REST APIs
● Care about writing beautiful and well-structured, correct and testable code
● Have knowledge in DevOps using Docker, Terraform and Kubernetes is a plus
● Want to make a difference to our clients
● Enjoy taking time to sit down and solve hard problems
● Work well with others and have an Agile mindset
● Have good communication skills, including a strong command of the English language
● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, independently and in a collaborative team environment
● Experience using SQL to extract and update data when required
● Experience in hardware peripherals and Network troubleshooting
● Experience with Amazon Web Services and troubleshooting server-related issues in AWS environments
● Strong organisational skills with ability to multitask and prioritise deadlines in a fast-paced environment
● Pro-active and eager to learn both independently and from experienced colleagues.
