    Description

    Position: Senior Accounts Executive

    Industry: E-commerce

    Location: Palakkad

    We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accounts Executive to join our dynamic finance team. The candidate is expected to possess robust financial, interpersonal, and organizational skills. They should demonstrate proficiency in financial management and ability to multi-task.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger activities.
    • Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries.
    • Preparation and Finalization of Financial Statements by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing transactions and accounts.
    • Prepare and submit tax documents, ensuring compliance with Income Tax, GST, and other legal requirements.
    • Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and expense reimbursements.
    • Reconcile financial activities and discrepancies between other e-commerce platforms by collecting and analysing account information.
    • Analyze financial information, summaries financial status and prepare budget.
    • Maintain and balance group accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.
    • Monitor and maintain financial data integrity by verifying and rectifying discrepancies.
    • Assist with internal and external audits and reviews and provide all required information.
    • Investigate and resolve audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
    • Maintain and strengthen internal controls.
    • Handle month-end and year-end closing activities.
    • Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the finance department.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • 2-3 years of experience in Accounting.
    • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
    • Knowledge in SAP is an added advantage.
    • Knowledge in GST, TDS required.
    • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially MS Excel.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities (Ability to converse in Hindi is an added advantage.)
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Knowledge of e-commerce accounting practices is a plus.
