Description

BE|BTech|MCA having 5 to 10 years of related experience with Exchange Online, Office 365, PowerShell use in Production environment, SharePoint/O365 administrator experience.


  • Significant experience with Office 365 services and ability to work with diverse teams to plan and develop enterprise architecture for Office 365 and supporting components
  • Hands on experience with implementation, deployment, migration, and support of core O365 services, including (but not limited to):
OneDrive - including collaboration and file sharing across PC and Mobile Devices

Exchange Online - including mailbox migration

SharePoint Online - including policy enforcement, data protection, governance

  • Evaluate needs and deliver solutions using OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint and other O365 collaboration tools.
  • Engineer Office 365 Groups, Teams, providing deep technical knowledge on various Teams architecture elements deployed.
  • Support the development, deployment, and execution of Office 365 services and develop related service strategies.
  • Develop concise and accurate engineering documentation including design, artifacts, knowledge guides, and operating procedures.
  • Administer and support Office 365 support configurations and policies.
  • Provide leadership to the team in supporting the development and execution of Office 365 roadmaps and service strategy, including Governance, Licensing, and Policy.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions and surface and analyze customer business requirements and align it with Office 365 capabilities (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.) within a Microsoft E3/E5 licensing framework.
  • Support technical and program teams to translate requirements into solution designs and influence stakeholders to drive consensus on approach and work towards achieving desired outcomes.
  • Develop concise and accurate engineering documentation including design plans, implementation guides, knowledge guides, and standard operating procedures
  • Support the PM in development and maintenance of Project Plans and Schedules, Test Plans, and Acceptance Criteria for implementation of services and capabilities of Office 36
  • Provide hands on technical support for the design, construction, configuration, and maintenance of all facets of an Office 365 Tenant.
  • Establishing and maintaining Office 365 Exchange mailboxes, user accounts, distribution groups and providing input on enterprise exchange policies and procedures.
  • Perform configurations and adjustments to enhance mailbox performance
  • Monitor and execute automated and manual mailbox backup and restore processes.
  • Support Office 365 Operations and Maintenance (O&M) of all components enabled in the Office 365 Tenant.
  • Support mission critical, 24x7 systems; available for shift and weekend tasks as assigned
  • Monitor ticket queue to ensure that all contractual SLAs are satisfied.
  • Interface with Microsoft for any Tier 3 support.
  • Participate in monthly patching maintenance.
Technology Skills

  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Online/Server and core elements: Active Directory, High Availability and Disaster Recovery Configurations, Mail Flow and Connectors, Outlook client configuration, PowerShell, ATP, SMTP, SSL/TLS
  • Extensive experience and skill in the use of PowerShell to report on, manage and automate Office 365 services.
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) Certification
  • ITIL Foundation Certification
  • Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP)
  • Preferred Microsoft Certifications, such as Office 365 MCSA, MCSE
