Olympus is a next generation cross asset data fabric, which will bring together disparate data sources for the Global Markets organization.

It will enable industry leading analytics, reporting and data science solutions. There are multiple streams within Olympus covering Data integration, reporting and Analytics.

This job involves working with the global team that onboards multiple source systems to Big Data platform.

Primary focus will be part of the QA initiative to build sustainable and scalable automation frameworks to support large scale migrations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, regulators and externalfacing teams to understand functional requirements and develop test automation solutions.
  • Understand and analyze Business, Functional, Technical and UI (User Interface) requirements of the project/release.
  • Identify risks and provide mitigation plan.
  • Escalate issues on timely manner to management.
  • Execution of test scripts, documenting the actual results and defects.
  • Responsible for overall adherence to QA test Protocol and processes.
  • Team player, good on communication with Business Analysts, Highly Motivated, quick learner, general interest in Equity/Equity Derivatives Trading Business.

Skills required:

  • 58 years QA experience primarily in QA automation.
  • Strong experience of developing automation tools using Java, Selenium, Cucumber.
  • Experience of working in Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, Hive, Impala).
  • Experience in big data analytics automation testing using Java/Scala/Spark will be a great advantage.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Unix
  • Proven automation capability including maintenance and enhancement of automation framework.
  • Experience of testing across complex end to end systems with multiple interfaces and dependencies
  • Good functional understanding of Equities business, order lifecycle and front to back data flow.
  • Good understanding of ETL concepts.
  • Hands on experience in CI/CD pipeline, GIT, Team city.

Test Management Tools:
ALM, JIRA

  • Must have exposure of working in Agile/iterative development.
  • Must have good analytical & logical skills
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication.

Qualifications

  • 58 years experience in an IT Quality role with commensurate people management experience.
  • Proven organizational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrates quality improvements and metrics gathering
  • Requires communication and diplomacy skills and an ability to persuade and influence.
