    1. Polymer Additive Manufacturing facility (FFF)

    2. Extrusion facility for Composite Filament

    3. World class Metal Additive Manufacturing facility (WAAM)

    4. Optical Microscope

    5. Micro hardness Tester (Shimadzu)

    6. Universal Testing Machine (Tinus Olsen)

    7. D Shore Hardness Tester

    8. Heat Treatment facility

    9. High-speed computational Facility ( SIMULIA ABAQUS, ANSYS & MATLAB)

    10. Vibration test facility for composites

    11. Material Synthesis facility

    It is one of the early Centre started to work on Extrusion of Composite Filament for and has numerous publication in the field.

    Role Description

    This is a full-time on-site role for a Research Assistant Professor at Chennai Institute of Technology. The Research Assistant Professor will be responsible for conducting research, designing experiments, analyzing data, writing research papers, and providing guidance and support to students.

    Qualifications

    • Ph.D. ( Any stream of Mechanical Engineering/ Physics/Mathematics)
    • Good publication record in SCIE journals
    • Strong research and analytical skills
    • Experience in designing experiments and analyzing data
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work well in a team
    • Knowledge of relevant software and tools
