Your responsibilities

Shift Monitoring - Assisting management and shift team in allocating, coordinating, and overseeing shift orders and work plan execution within production lines during the shift.

Organization - Providing regular feedback and makes recommendations to management regarding issues within the production line, including production line organization, shifting priorities and possible critical situations.

Helping management implement staff movements in case of vacations, illnesses, machine outages or shifting priorities.

Cooperation- Serving as leader during shifts to oversee cooperation and the resolution of technical/quality problems and logistic issues.

Metrics Reinforces focus on volume, efficiency and on time delivery.

Health & safety Ensures the shift operation is run in compliance with health & safety policies and guidelines.

Background

A diploma / B.E in mechanical/electrical engineering.

Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience as a production supervisor in a large manufacturing industry.

Experience in Transformer industry will be added advantage.

Fosters a culture where safety is priority and procedures and policies are followed.

Coordinate daily production runs to maximize efficiencies.

Communicates and cooperates with engineers, maintenance technicians, quality technicians and management to resolve problems relating to safety, quality, equipment or processes.

Provides leadership, direction and training to employees as required.

Good Communication skills, Planning and Scheduling.

Skilled in troubleshooting and problem solving.

Prefer knowledge of continuous improvement tools/methodologies (FMEA, lean manufacturing, 5S, MTM/TMC, DFM/DFA, Six-Sigma, 4Q, VSM, etc.)

Quick learner with interest in and ability to master new technologies.

Proficiency in English and Hindi is required.
