    Description

    Responsibilities :

    • Develop reusable generic ETL frameworks to streamline data integration processes.
    • Design, develop, and test Ab Initio graphs for data extraction, transformation, and loading from various sources (including Oracle, Teradata, Hadoop) to target destinations (data warehouses, data lakes).
    • Create low-level designs, data mappings, and perform data analysis and data mining activities.
    • Experience using Ab Initio components like A>I (Ab-Initio), Business Rules Engine (BRE), Data Quality Engine (DQE)/Control>IT, and Enterprise Messaging Engine (EME) is preferred.
    • Knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem tools like Hive, Spark, and Impala is a strong plus.
    • Experience with cloud-based data integration solutions like AWS Glue and Redshift is a valuable advantage.
    • Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
    • Troubleshoot Ab Initio-related problems and errors to ensure smooth data flow.
    • Develop and implement Continuous Flow (real-time processing) solutions using Ab Initio.
    • Write and maintain shell scripts to automate data processing tasks.
    • Utilize strong logical reasoning and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve data integration challenges.
    • Continuously monitor and optimize data pipelines for performance and efficiency.

    Qualifications :

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
    • Minimum 3-5 years of experience working as an Ab Initio developer.
    • Proven experience in designing, developing, and deploying ETL solutions using Ab Initio.
    • Experience with data warehousing, data modeling, and data quality concepts.
    • Working knowledge of SQL and scripting languages (shell scripting).
    • Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases (Oracle, Teradata, Hadoop).
    • Experience troubleshooting Ab Initio-related problems. (an added benefit)
    • Experience with Continuous Flow (real-time processing) in Ab Initio. (an added benefit)
