- Technical Guidance: Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team, helping them make sound technical decisions and overcome challenges.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team and organization. Encourage experimentation, innovation, and the adoption of new technologies and best practices.
- Quality Assurance: Promote a culture of delivering high-quality software by championing testing practices, code reviews, and other quality assurance measures.
- Documentation: Ensure that all necessary project documentation is maintained, including user stories, technical specifications, and architectural diagrams.
- Agile Leadership: Lead and mentor Agile development teams in the adoption and continuous improvement of Agile principles, practices, and methodologies. Facilitate Scrum ceremonies with constant improvement.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering with 12+ years of experience with 5+ years of experience leading technical teams.
- Proven experience as a Senior Technical Manager, leading Agile development teams and successfully delivering software projects.
- Strong technical proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, Hibernate ORM, Cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and MySQL.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, especially Scrum, and Agile tools like Jira or similar
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership skills with a focus on mentoring and empowering team members to achieve their best potential.
- Problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities, coupled with a positive and solution-oriented attitude.
- Knowledge of software development best practices, including design reviews, code reviews, testing methodologies, and continuous integration.
