Key Responsibilities:
- Minimum of 1-3+ years of technical experience in
SQL databases in a large-scale environment of the IT Sector. - Experience in
implementation of SQL Server Integration Services SSIS, SQL Server Reporting Services SSRS, SQL Server Analytical Services SSAS
Creating / Validating SQL scripts / Stored procedures/ functions/ triggers.
- Install & Configure and Manage Microsoft SQL Server 2008/2012/2014/2016/2017.
- Check Database backups and SQL logs.
- Monitor the health of the SQL server and databases.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, replication issues, connectivity issues, security issues
. Fluency in T-SQL, and batch scripting.
- Good knowledge of migration and upgradation.
- Experience implementing and managing SQL Server high-availability technologies (replication, mirroring, failover clusters, etc.) and participating in disaster recovery tests.
Qualifications and Skills:
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor's in Computer Science, IT. [BE/BTech, BCA,MCA, B.Sc./M.Sc. ME/MTech] and Certifications in DBA will be a plus.
- Work Experience
- Min 2 to 5+ years of experience in DBA roles proficiency, Strong understanding of SQL databases, SQL Server services, T-SQL and batch scripting and have knowledge of migration and upgradation.
Systems Expertise:
Bring advanced systems know-how to the team.
- Ability to multi-task and set priorities within tight timelines & exhibit a sense of urgency in resolving issues.
- Excellent Spoken and Written communication skills.
