    Job Description: Senior Design Engineer

    Company: Premier Pumps Pvt. Ltd.

    Location: Work from Office only

    Position Type: Full-time

    Work Days: Monday to Saturday

    Work timings: 9:00 A.M to 5:30 P.M

    PREMIER PUMPS PVT LTD is a manufacturer of liquid ring vacuum pumps and process pumps. Established in year 1989 in Hyderabad, Telangana, PREMIER has its head office and manufacturing facility in Hyderabad with subsidiaries in USA (PREMIER VACUUM SYSTEMS LLC) and Indonesia (PT PREMIER PUMPS AND SYSTEMS). The subsidiaries have warehouse and workshop facilities to cater to their regional requirements. PREMIER's products are widely used in process industries such as Thermal power plants, paper mills, sugar mills, etc.

    Qualifications:

    Diploma or Graduation in Mechanical Engineering

    Minimum of 15 years of experience in drafting.

    Proficiency in AUTOCAD software

    Experience in SOLIDWORKS will be an add on, otherwise should be willing to learn it on the job

    Experience in the related industry would be plus, but not mandatory.

    Job Responsibilities:

    1. Design and Development:

    Lead the design and development of new pump products and components.

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and functionality.

    Conduct design reviews and make necessary modifications based on feedback and testing results.

    2. CAD Modeling and Drafting:

    Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings for pump components and assemblies.

    Ensure all designs meet industry standards and specifications.

    Maintain an organized database of design files and documentation.

    3. Technical Support:

    Provide technical support to manufacturing, quality control, and sales teams.

    Assist in resolving design-related issues during production and testing phases.

    4. Innovation and Improvement:

    Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

    Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product design efficiency and performance.

    5. Project Management:

    Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints.

    Skills and Competencies:

    Strong proficiency in CAD software, with a deep understanding of mechanical design principles.

    Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

    Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Project management and organizational skills.
