    About Us

    The Souled Store is a homegrown youth casual-wear brand started in 2013. We are one of India's largest online merchandising platforms with licenses like Disney, Warner Bros., WWE, IPL, Viacom18 to name a few. Apart from selling products with themed designs such as superheroes, movies, TV shows, and cartoons, the brand also is at the forefront of the latest youth style and fashion trends. In addition to core men and women wear apparel categories, we are also in the process of expanding to new categories and introducing new product lines in the existing categories like activewear, supima products, innerwear, personal care products like perfumes and very recently launched footwear and kidswear.

    Although we are primarily an online brand, we've expanded in the offline retail space as well and have 13 offline stores with plans for expansion pan India.

    The Souled Store was born out of the idea of loving what you do, from the soul. We believe that people do their best work when they love what they do.     Team & Position Summary

    As the Category Manager for Menswear at The Souled Store, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our menswear product offerings. You will be responsible for curating, developing, and managing an exciting and diverse range of menswear products that resonate with our target audience. Your expertise in trend analysis, product selection, vendor management, and market trends will be crucial in ensuring our menswear category's growth and profitability.

    Roles & Responsibilities

    • Category Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape within the assigned category. Monitor sales data, market share, and other relevant metrics to gain insights and identify growth opportunities.
    • Assortment Planning: Assist in developing and implementing a comprehensive assortment strategy for the assigned category. Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to select and curate product offerings that align with customer needs and company objectives.
    • Pricing and Promotion: Support the team in determining optimal pricing strategies based on market analysis, product positioning, and competitive landscape.
    • Assist in planning and executing promotional activities to drive sales and enhance brand visibility.
    • Inventory Management: Work closely with the supply chain team to ensure proper inventory levels, minimize stockouts, and optimize inventory turnover. Monitor product forecasts, demand patterns, and sales data to make data-driven inventory replenishment decisions.
    • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various internal teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to align category strategies with overall business.

    • Performance Tracking: Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and evaluate the performance of the assigned category. Generate regular reports and presentations to communicate category performance, market insights, and recommendations to stakeholders.
    • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies within the assigned category. Proactively identify areas for process improvement, cost optimization, and revenue enhancement.

    Experience & Skills

    • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, Marketing, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
    • 5+ Years of experience in similar field. Experience in retail, e-commerce, or consumer goods is preferred.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw actionable insights.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
    • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
    • Knowledge of category management principles and strategies is mandatory. Knowledge of product is a plus.
    • Familiarity with market research tools and techniques is beneficial.
