    About Us

    The Souled Store is a homegrown youth casual-wear brand started in 2013.

    We are one of India's largest online merchandising platforms with licenses like Disney, Warner Bros., WWE, IPL, Viacom18 to name a few.

    Apart from selling products with themed designs such as superheroes, movies, TV shows, and cartoons, the brand also is at the forefront of the latest youth style and fashion trends.

    In addition to core men and women wear apparel categories, we are also in the process of expanding to new categories and introducing new product lines in the existing categories like activewear, supima products, innerwear, personal care products like perfumes and very recently launched footwear and kidswear.


    Although we are primarily an online brand, we've expanded in the offline retail space as well and have 16 offline stores with plans for expansion pan India.

    The Souled Store was born out of the idea of loving what you do, from the soul. We believe that people do their best work when they love what they do. There are too many Monday mornings and you can't go dreading every single one of them.

    Team & Position Summary
    We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Team Lead Design (Menswear) to join our team.

    The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in menswear design, with a strong ability to lead a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

    This role involves working on individual designs, curating collections, vendor management, and ensuring timely delivery of products.

    The Team Lead Design will be responsible for overseeing the entire design process, from ideation to final product, while ensuring the brand's vision and quality standards are maintained.

    Roles & Responsibilities

    Lead the creation of individual designs, including ideation, design changes, and working on prints.
    Plan the design direction for the entire team, ensuring alignment with the brand's vision and market trends.
    Collaborate with the design team to create capsule collections.
    Curate and finalize designs post-selection, ensuring a cohesive and on-brand collection.
    Visit, source, and buy from respective vendors, ensuring timely and quality deliverables.
    Oversee the creation and accuracy of all men's techpacks, ensuring detailed and precise specifications.
    Plan the summer and winter ranges ahead of time, including theme exploration, silhouette planning, and fashion forecasting.
    Provide final direction on concepts, colors, and silhouettes for upcoming collections.
    Collaborate with category managers to build a comprehensive apparel range.
    Conduct multiple brand studies, including self-brand analysis and physical visits to stores.
    Gather insights on market products and trends to inform design decisions.
    Distribute work across team members effectively and ensure timely completion of tasks.

    Review and provide feedback on all samples provided by the SC team to ensure they meet design and quality standards.

    Select and brief the mockup team, working closely to bring out the best in the product.

    Requirements

    Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
    Minimum of 5 years of experience in menswear design, with a proven track record in leading design teams.
    Strong knowledge of fabric, trims, and garment construction.
    Proficient in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
    Excellent organizational and project management skills.
    Ability to conduct thorough market research and apply insights to design strategies.
    Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
    Creative, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
