    Job Profile Name: Sr. S/4HANA Procurement Functional Analyst

    Our Enterprise Services organization is seeking a Senior S/4HANA Procurement Functional Analyst to take the lead on the ERP procurement team in India. The individual in this role will be responsible for overseeing the design, build, testing, and operations of the Global SAP S/4 HANA Cloud Procurement module with Ariba Guided Buying and Commerce Automation. Apart from setting and executing a strategic vision and roadmap for the organization, they will collaborate with stakeholders and executive leadership. Acting as a strategic thought partner, the role involves serving as a liaison between various cross-functional teams. Additionally, the SAP Procurement lead will play a crucial role in selecting, developing, and retaining top talent, ensuring the team possesses the necessary skills and capabilities to meet the business requirements.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead the Procure to Pay functional team through build testing and deployment phases of S/4HANA Cloud implementation, including coaching and mentoring a team of IT professionals
    • Showcase extensive experience and a proven track record of success in leading teams in the configuration of procurement modules in SAP
    • Establish and nurture relationships with stakeholders to contribute towards achieving business goals
    • Develop and maintain trusted advisor relationships with stakeholders, including senior leaders, to offer valuable insights and advice on leveraging technology for business effectiveness and competitiveness
    • Empower the team with insights to meet business demands, develop workforce strategy for current and future software needs, and nurture talent through hiring and development
    • Foster an environment of open communication, learning, collaboration, transparency, and inclusiveness
    • Define and maintain business requirement documentation standards, collaborating with business partners to ensure accurate capture of requirements with a clear understanding of process and technology implications
    • Manage the Software Development Life Cycle to ensure efficient, quality, and compliant delivery activities
    • Ensure the reliability, resilience, security, and compliance of all ERP Procurement Applications
    • Maintain effective relationships with strategic vendors (software and Application Maintenance Service providers)

    Qualifications and Background

    • Experience with leading ERP software, particularly SAP S/4HANA solutions
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related discipline
    • 6-7 years of SAP experience in large-scale implementation projects, with a minimum of 5 years in Procure to Pay areas
    • 2 years of management experience
    • 8 years of experience in IT

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Thorough understanding of ERP (SAP) technologies, with exposure to SAP S/4HANA Cloud on Multitenant mode being a plus
    • Extensive experience in leading teams in the configuration and implementation of Procurement modules
    • Expertise in Designing and optimizing End-to-End SAP Procurement (S4 Ariba) processes
    • Working experience in SAP S/4 HANA Procurement modules with Ariba in a Cloud environment
    • Exposure to Ariba Guided buying and Commerce Automation, along with integration to SAP S/4 Hana cloud environment
    • Experience in Agile-based delivery methods, collaborating with technical and functional resources
    • Configuration and implementation expertise in various procurement functionalities in SAP systems, such as Purchase Requisitions, Contracts, and Purchase Orders
    • In-depth understanding of procurement processes like Service Purchase Orders, Vendor setup process, GR/IR Analysis, etc.
    • Good understanding of Ariba Guided buying processes and SAP Ariba Commerce Automation integration
    • Functional expertise in procure to pay areas
    • Experience in delivering projects efficiently and cost-effectively
    • Engage and collaborate with C-level Executives and Senior Management to ensure successful project delivery
    • Ability to identify areas requiring support and growth, understanding business requirements
    • Demonstrated ability to tackle complex issues, work within allocated budgets, think critically, solve problems, and build trust across the organization
    • Guide teams to deliver results within aggressive timelines, managing multiple tasks
    • Experience in planning, budgeting, and managing expenses, implementing changes, and providing recommendations
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills, self-motivation, and quick learning abilities
    • Travel to business offices may be required, along with experience in change management and governance

    • Strong time management, organizational skills, analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
    • Positive attitude and willingness to troubleshoot high-priority issues outside normal hours
