FINANCE CONTROLLER

Job Description:

Flixstock, a high-growth tech startup, is seeking a qualified and experienced Chartered Accountant (CA) to join our team in Gurgaon.

As a CA at Flixstock, you will be responsible for various financial activities, including creating investor decks, corporate budgeting, and forecasting.

You will work directly with the CEO and play a crucial role in shaping the financial strategy of the company.

Responsibilities:

Investor Decks:
Prepare comprehensive investor decks to attract potential investors, showcasing Flixstock's financial performance, growth projections, and investment opportunities

Corporate Budgeting:

Collaborate with the CEO and other stakeholders to develop annual budgets for different departments and the entire company. Design effective budget models, ensuring all operations align with the allocated budget.

Forecasting:

Utilize financial information, historical data, and market trends to create accurate financial forecasts. Identify key financial indicators and provide insights for informed decision-making.

Financial Reporting:

Generate timely and accurate financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Analyze financial data to monitor performance against budget and highlight any variances.

Financial Analysis:

Conduct financial analysis to evaluate the company's financial health, profitability, and efficiency. Identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.

Compliance and Governance:

Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal controls. Implement and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure transparency and accountability.- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including the CEO, department heads, and investors, to provide financial insights, address queries, and support strategic decision-making

Qualifications and Skills:

Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
Minimum 6 years of experience as a CA, preferably in a highgrowth tech startup environment.
Proven experience in creating investor decks, corporate budgeting, and forecasting.
Strong knowledge of financial analysis, accounting principles, and financial reporting.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
Effective communication and presentation skills.
