Job Overview:

Responsibilities:


  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in mathematics and science to students.
  • Instruct students in mathematical and scientific concepts, problemsolving techniques, and critical thinking skills.
  • Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate diverse learning styles and individual student needs.
  • Utilize various teaching resources, including textbooks, online tools, and handson activities.
  • Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and curiosity.
  • Assess student understanding through quizzes, assignments, and periodic tests.
  • Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to help them improve their skills and performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and grades.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum and teaching strategies.
  • Attend occasional staff meetings and professional development sessions.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills to explain complex concepts in an understandable manner.
  • Teaching experience or a passion for education and mentoring.
  • Ability to engage and motivate students to excel in their studies.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles.
  • Availability to teach from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM on specified days.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Science, Education, or a related field (preferred but not required).
