    Description

    Entertainment Network India Limited (ENIL), popularly known as Mirchi also a part of the wider Times of India Group is the hottest destination for Millennials and GenZ across different mediums. While having presence across 63 cities and being the largest FM broadcaster in India, we have reasonable presence in US and multiple countries in the MENA regions with more joining the fray shortly. Mirchi has delighted its audience and the industry with its exciting properties such as Mirchi Music Awards (in 8 languages) & Mirchi Top 20. It is also one of the biggest concert players in the country. At the same time Mirchi also has on the biggest campus connect programmes across the country which helps it stay in the hearts and minds on young India. Mirchi digital is currently reaching millions of users through multiple mediums like Social, YouTube, Gaana, etc.

    Mirchi is currently focusing on revolutionising the digital audio, video and content consumption space across all digital platforms like apps, PWA's, site's, connected TV's, in car consumption etc both in India and at multiple International locations. We are looking for digital enthusiasts and experts across domains who are keen to be a part of this journey.

    Primary Requirement:


    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or similar.


    • 2 to 4 years of experience in Java development with a strong understanding of core Java concepts like multithreading, collections, and Java 8/11 features.


    • Experience on Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Multi-threading, Hibernate, and JPA.


    • Strong knowledge of RDBMS and any other NoSQL database technologies (Cassandra, MongoDB).


    • Knowledge of RESTful API design principles, architecture for Web Services and experience with API development using frameworks like Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.


    • Experience in caching technologies - Aerospike and Redis etc.


    • Experience with message queues and asynchronous programming using frameworks like RabbitMQ or Kafka.


    • Hands-on experience on Elastic.


    • Hands-on experience in Microservices Development.


    • Experience using Maven and Jenkins for CI/CD.


    • Strong understanding of System Design.


    • Test Driven Development, Junit and Mokito.


    • Strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals with excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues.

    Job Brief:


    • Design and develop highly scalable, reliable, and performant backend systems using Java and related technologies.


    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers, to design and implement new features and enhancements.


    • Write high-quality, clean, and maintainable code that adheres to industry standards and best practices.


    • Ensure the timely delivery of features and enhancements by following Agile development methodologies and using tools like JIRA and Git.


    • Troubleshoot and debug production issues, and implement fixes and improvements as needed.


    • Continuously improve the performance and scalability of our systems by optimizing database queries, improving caching mechanisms, and implementing load balancing and clustering techniques.


    • Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in backend development and apply them to our systems as appropriate.
