M ission / Role purpose


A Delivery Architect's accountability is to build a well-constructed solution that takes all factors into account - key stakeholders, business objectives, technology strategy, security requirements - and that can be handed off to the deployment team for successful and on-time delivery and to the operations team for efficient and SLA commitments.


Overall accountability & responsability

  • E2E technical responsibility for delivery of the Enterprise network solution for customers,
  • Accountable/Key contributor for the technical aspects of the solution definition including features for implementation and operations,
  • Accountable/Key contributor for the technical aspects of the solution delivery through to successful live operations,

Pre & Post-Sales Engagement

  • Support Presales & bidteam for the technical qualification for the customer's service management needs, well versed with design to cost approach and techniques,
  • Technical validation of Enterprise Network Architecture with solution centric approach & in line with OBS operational ecosystem,
  • Participate in solution demo & pilots success of customized requirements,
  • Assess & qualify security risks, capacity and performance parameters.

Embedded in the solution definition, delivery team and service operationalization

  • Work with Post sales teams for the successful delivery of the solution
  • In partnership with Project management accountable for technical delivery and to ops
  • Participate in Architecture discussion to work through design, security, partners, customer IT tooling needs and other key parameters,
  • Delivery Architect provide insight and views on the customer ITSM tools integration, monitoring solutions of the customer requested solution, Front end customer / vendor in terms of technical design / issues / discussion / evolution where need arises.
Role/Responsibilities may differ from one bid to one others and is requiring flexibility, high level of automomy and a strong background experience

Technical Expertise in Solution Design qualification

Working under the responsibility of the Entreprise Architect

  • Early engagement during the Pre-Sales phase
  • Contribute to Customer workshop participation,
  • Key contributor of customer network solution definition, design, qualification & validation,
  • Ensure compliance with already, implemented network architecture and solutions,
  • Support the technical qualification for the customer's service management needs, well versed with design to cost approach and techniques,
  • Design validation and Customer acceptance
  • Validate and qualify operationally the HLD
  • Provide complementary design documentation for implementing the solution
  • Facilitate and support a lab and/or contribute to proofofconcept for new solutions Support the first few Customer pilot site implementationsTechnical Expertise in Solution Transition & Deployment
  • Own network design to ops documentation
  • Create the Customer technical documentation for delivery and operational entities,
  • Decide the project implementation process with lead Project Manager on the high level interlock,
  • Technical alignement of network deployment team
  • Enlist the technical knowledge required for the scope of the project to let the manager select the deployment team.
  • Analyze the resource capacity, coverage & availability and feedback to the Lead PM and let him confirm if that would meet the project plan
  • Onboard the designated deployment team & service management team on Customer technical design specific requirements.
  • Technical drive of the Customer network transition
  • Contribute with PM to define the transition plan
  • Setup the discovery strategy & set requirements expected from customer to secure the transition
  • Alignment with the Customer Asset & Data Manager for inventory uploading,
  • Prepare upfront the takeover technics with automation
  • Technical drive of the Customer network transformation
  • Contribute with PM to define the transformation plan
  • Setup the transformation strategy & set requirements expected from customer to secure the transition
  • Alignment with the Customer Asset & Data Manager for Site Survey, inventory
  • Prepare upfront the transformation technics with automation
  • Participate actively to Handover to Operation,
  • Povide insight and views on the customer ITSM tools integration, monitoring solutions of the customer requested solution to meet SLA,
Be point of escalation to the Deployment Team with regards to technical issues related to design

Technical Expertise in Solution Operation

  • Technical Support in term of Network Security Management : adhoc assessment of vulnerability impact based on customer design and devices configuration.
  • Technical support in term of Incident Management : Provide guidance and support during major incidents & escalations.
