Description

Responsible for Project delivery on agreed schedules, quality, standards and following way of working.

Managing small, medium and largescale BIM Models for structures using Revit Structures by agreeing BEP / BIP with project team and suggesting methods of drawing production to achieve highest efficiency.
Agree priorities and deadlines for drawing / model production with BIM Manager and share all necessary inputs on resource forecast meetings.
Assisting BIM Manager in Estimation and Costing of BIM projects based on inputs from Canada.
Liaison with project team members in Canada, internal and client side if necessary.
Ensure smooth collaboration between the India and Canada BIM teams through BIM 360, Bluebeam Studio and other cloud sharing tools.
Implement best practices on process improvement works.
Adopt latest tools and techniques within cloud platform for worksharing and coordination.
Contribute to automation and related research tasks for improving efficiency.
Ensure continuous improvement through trainings to respective Modellers & Self.
Discuss and agree setting out and building structures details with other members of the team as well as guide the team members in understanding engineering markups
Produce work to specified WSP BIM and CAD standards, suggest revisions to standards as appropriate. Input to the coordination of engineering services on projects.
Develop general arrangement drawings from engineers sketches and other design team member drawings and details and develop sketches into coordinated building details
Use templates for BIM work and use Typical / Project Details library items to assist design work
Manage processes, implementation, including shared parameters, view ports, sheets, workset associations etc., and manage all best practices and techniques of BIM and related tools.
Create content in Revit families, templates and parts for use according to Canada standards
Follow QA, document control, archiving & WoW guidelines on all work
Ensuring all relevant standards and guides are used in accordance with WSP in India QA processes.
