Job Purpose:


As part of this role, He/She will be responsible for technical customer engagements, working with the most challenging and exciting projects for our esteemed clients or internal project.

He/she will collaborate with a variety of internal and external teams to develop pilots and oversee implementation projects, ensuring technical blockers are removed on adoption.

He/She will drive the technical intensity of SQL code and create communities among customers.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage Oracle databases
  • Configure and maintain database servers and processes
  • Monitor the system's health and performance
  • Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability, and security
  • Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time
  • Provide suggestions for solutions
  • Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes
  • Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement
  • Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems

Key Skills and Experience:


  • 10+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA or similar role.
  • 5+ years of experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO)
  • 10+ years of experience with backups restore, and recovery models
  • 5+ years of experience with High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for Oracle
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company's success
  • Critical thinking and problemsolving skills
  • Team player
  • Good timemanagement skills
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • OCA, OCP and/or OCM on 12c/19c certifications a plus

Good to Have

  • Knowledge about other RDMS(Postgres, SQL server, MongoDB, MYSQL) will be appreciated.
