Key Tasks
Operations

Complete responsibility for billing, appointments, refunds, registrations, concessions, collections and other functions in the clinic

Maintain hygiene inside the clinic - includes reception, consultation rooms, OT, patient rooms, rest rooms, corridors etc.

Payment of bills on time. Maintain all relevant paperwork.

Maintain stock of essential provisions including stationery, consumables etc.

Control of monthly running expenses to ensure that clinic profitability is maintained.

Coordinate with lab technician to ensure that the sample collection and lab reporting process is smooth and on time.

Ensure that all equipment is in working order. AMC's records are maintained and AMC's are updated on time.

Tie up with all relevant insurance firms and maintain relationship with them. Keep documentation up to date.


Ensure that all relevant documentation is maintained and submitted on time for Sonography, X-Ray, Pollution Control and other items where there is any interaction with the local government agencies.

Ensure all clinic infrastructure is adequate and well maintained. Includes furniture work, plumbing, electrical work, internet connection, computers, server, printers, medical equipment etc.

Staff Management

Development of job descriptions & performance standards for staff

Evaluate and monitor performance of staff. Take necessary action in case of consistent poor performance.

Providing staff orientation, familiarity with work plans, & knowledge of performance expectations

Manage leave such that there is adequate staffing at all times.

Develop a system where staff can contribute and implement new ideas

Provide appropriate staff training as & when required

Recruitment of new staff members whenever required.

Patient Handling

Ensure consistently good service to patients

  • Proper advice and guidance on all health related issues

Develop a patient feedback process and continuously act on the feedback

Ensure all data about patients is entered correctly during registration, appointments and billing.


ENSURE EACH and EVERY PATIENT GOES OUT HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE AT THE HOSPITAL.
Doctor Management

Ensure that the center has competent doctors for all relevant specialties. There should be a family physician throughout the day. Over time there should be at least 3 specialists for ENT, Gynecology, Pediatrics, Orthopedics, Dermatology and Internal Medicine. There should be at least one doctor for various super specialties.

Maintain relevant documents for all doctors (Copy of PAN Card, resume, MMC registration certificate, degree certificate etc.). Maintain updated doctor profiles - to be used for brochures, websites etc.

Ensure doctor payment is done on time.

Ensure doctor requests on all relevant issues (infrastructure, equipment, consumables, front office protocols etc.) are completed on time.

Policies & Procedures

Develop, implement and update policies and procedures for all the operations in the clinic

Ensure that the clinic manual is current and accessible to all employees, doctors etc.

Timely communication of information to staff through meetings

Safety

Ensure that standard blood and body fluid precautions are observed by all personnel

Ensure proper and timely documentation

Ensure that clinic facility, including equipment & supplies, is adequate for the patient population

Ensure all equipment are in working order

Ensure proper precautions are taken by staff and patients before any procedures

Quality Assurance

Ensure quality assurance functions related to clinic operations are performed at regular intervals

Develop appropriate quality control systems

Financials / Accounts

Knowledge of revenue level where operational break even is achieved.

Work towards improving margins across all services.

Maintain necessary excel sheets/google documents to track collection data and laboratory matching data. This needs to be shared with accounts every month.

Maintain leave and late coming data. Provide relevant details to HR such that salaries are disbursed on time.

Develop protocols for ensuring credit card reconciliation, cash reconciliation and bank reconciliation.

Marketing

Organize regular camps to increase awareness of services offered at the hospital/clinic.

Build a database of apartment blocks within 4 km of the center. Organize lectures, camps etc. regularly in apartment blocks.

Build a database of all corporate firms within 6 km of the center. Interact with the HR of these firms to build health check tie ups.

Design and display in-clinic posters on relevant topics

Design brochures / posters for newspaper leaflet campaigns.


Salary:
₹20, ₹25,000.00 per month
