    Regional HR Manager at Delhi Regional Delegation

    The Regional HR Manager plays a vital role in the Management team of the Regional Delegation in Delhi. Collaborating closely with the Head of Regional Delegation and the Deputy Head of Regional Delegation for Operations, they serve as a key member of the Core Support team, reporting directly to the Head of Regional Delegation.

    Tasked with coordinating activities alongside four support services managers, the Regional HR Manager ensures proper HR management across various departments including Finance and Administration, Logistics, Information Management, and ICT. They also extend support to other programme managers in all HR-related aspects.

    In addition to overseeing HR activities and procedures, the HR Manager provides valuable insights on HR matters, maintains professional HR service standards, and aligns HR objectives with the delegation's needs to tackle humanitarian challenges.

    ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Manages the HR department of Delhi Regional Delegation, including Staff Health Officer.
    • Ensures guidance and support to team members under supervision.
    • Optimizes human resources for delivering quality services.
    • Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders for transparent HR processes.
    • Supervises HR planning and updates position descriptions for staff.
    • Fosters healthy employee relations and addresses any concerns proactively.
    • Revises HR policies, ensures compliance, and monitors service contracts.
    • Handles employee-related issues and organizes necessary HR meetings.

    YOUR PROFILE

    • BA or Master's Degree in HR, Business Administration or relevant field.
    • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in HR leadership or management.
    • Fluency in English (French is a plus).
    • International experience and staff management skills are advantageous.
    • Expertise in HR systems, labour laws, and local employment practices.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage and develop HR teams.
    • Service-oriented with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
    • Cultural awareness and commitment to diversity and inclusion.
