    Currently we have an Open Position for Senior DBA (Couch-base) Architect role with one of our projects, location based in Bangalore.

    Job Description:

    • Minimum 15 yrs experience in database administration
    • Owning the accountability of database support and administration effectively, efficiently, and independently
    • Plan/Organise/Control/Evaluate tasks related to installation and configuration, performance tuning, backup, recovery, security, patching, upgrades and high availability.
    • Ensure resolving moderate to complex (P1 and P2) incidents and problems effectively in a timely manner and available for escalations.
    • Responsible for performing root cause analysis, long term fix, service improvements and providing technical solutions.
    • Responsible for design and implementation of complex components of a project module, change requests.
    • Responsible for providing trend analysis to management to enable them to make informed decisions.
    • Working in a cross-cultural team and communicate effectively with the team and stake holders.
    • Mentoring, guiding, building capability, and taking the team along.
    • Expertise in managing Couchbase on medium to large scale deployments.
    • High availability features like replica configuration, server grouping and XDCR.
    • Good knowledge of query tuning and index creations in SQL ++
    • Troubleshooting performance issues by analysing response times, decoding Couchbase logs.
    • Good knowledge of backups, recovery and good understanding of Couchbase monitoring.
    • Good knowledge of Eventing , Full Text Search and Analytics services.
    • Good understanding of buckets types and configurations.
    • Hands on experience performing load tests, capturing response times.
    • Additional skills on PostgreSQL or MySQL would be an added advantage.
    • Good knowledge of OS, virtualisation, storage, and its related commands
    • Good analytical skills
    • Automation experience in the database support structure
    • Good working experience on Cloud technologies(IaaS, Paas)
