    What you'll be doing:

    • The role available is for a DC Design Engineer within the Lenovo Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG), located in Bangalore, Karnataka. You'll be part of the ThinkSystem Server Development team, working towards becoming the top IT partner in the Datacenter industry.
    • The DC power design engineer position involves collaborating with a team to create innovative server designs that meet customer and business requirements. You'll work on developing solutions that address unique client needs and incorporate the latest technologies in the market.

    Required qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Electronics/Computer Engineering
    • 10+ years of experience in x86 architecture and hardware design, with a preference for server-related power design
    • 7+ years of expertise in power design tools and hardware validation
    • Ability to manage power design technology effectively to meet product requirements
    • Experience in vendor selection, technology assessment, and market research
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent written and verbal communication abilities
    • Capability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently, with a keen interest in learning new technologies

    Preferred qualifications:

    • Master's Degree
    • Prior experience in DC Power circuit design, simulation, and validation
    • Proficiency in Linux/Windows Operating systems and OS virtualization
    • Strong scripting skills (BASH/Perl/Python/Labview and Windows Power Shell)
    • Proven track record of successful power design projects with global engineering teams
    • Business acumen to engage with cross-functional teams throughout project lifecycles
