    Description

    Roles and Responsibilities:
    Scrutiny of tender documents
    Evaluating tender documents drawings & schedules
    Floating Enquiries to Suppliers/ Manufacturers
    ComparisonStudies based on suppliers Quotations
    Negotiations with suppliers onboth technical and commercial aspects of product.
    Based on Clients budgetconstraints for any specific project carrying out Value engineeringstudies.
    Maintaining ISOdocumentation Record Keeping Suppliers/Manufacturers Data Bankrecords.
    Delegating Draftsmenfor quantity take offs cross checking quantities.
    Pricing for electrical /mechanical / plumbing systems
    Assisting in compiling of tenders.
    Making PreQualificationdocuments both standards as well project specificquestionnaires

    Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, ManufacturingEngineering, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevantprofessional certifications may be preferred. Proven experience inheavy equipment manufacturing or a related industry, with a strongunderstanding of engineering principles, materials, andmanufacturing processes. Proficiency in CAD/CAM software forproduct design and manufacturing process optimization. Excellentproblem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technicalissues and develop effective solutions. Strong project managementskills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, andcoordinate cross-functional teams. Knowledge of quality managementsystems, lean manufacturing principles, and regulatory requirementsapplicable to heavy equipment manufacturing. Effectivecommunication skills and the ability to collaborate withmultidisciplinary teams, including engineers, designers,technicians, and production personnel. Flexibility to adapt tochanging priorities and work in a fast-paced manufacturingenvironment.
