    Description

    Position Overview:
    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java and GoLang Developer to join our team.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development, along with hands-on experience in GoLang and related technologies.

    This role will involve developing, deploying, and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and resilient applications within a distributed microservices architecture.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and maintain Java and GoLangbased applications, ensuring code quality, performance, and reliability.
    • Utilize Spring Boot for service development, leveraging its features for building efficient and scalable microservices.
    • Work with Kafka for building eventdriven architectures and ensuring seamless integration with other systems.
    • Design, implement, and optimize SQL and NoSQL databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, Couchbase, and Cassandra, for data storage and retrieval.
    • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design and implement reactive programming solutions using frameworks like Vert.
    X or similar technologies.

    • Implement testing frameworks like Cucumber for Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and JMeter for performance testing to ensure application reliability and scalability.
    • Utilize Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment, and leverage monitoring tools like Splunk, Kibana, and Grafana for performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
    • Develop and manage microservicesbased applications, focusing on high availability, scalability, and fault tolerance.
    • Implement caching mechanisms to optimize application performance and improve user experience.
    • Work in Agile projects, participating in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospective meetings to deliver highquality software incrementally.
    • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, continuously enhancing technical skills and knowledge.
    • Contribute to the development and maintenance of infrastructure components, leveraging cloud computing technologies and DevOps concepts.
    • Collaborate with the team on code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.

    Ideal Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of experience in Java development, with good working knowledge of Java 8 and above (experience with Java 11 and Java 17 is a plus).
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience with GoLang language.
    • Strong working knowledge of Spring Boot for service development.
    • Experience with Kafka and its integrations.
    • Proficiency in both SQL and NoSQL databases like Oracle, PostgreSQL, Couchbase, and Cassandra.
    • Familiarity with reactive programming concepts and frameworks like Vert.

    • Basic knowledge and understanding of tools like Jenkins, Deployments, Splunk/Kibana/Grafana, GitHub.
    • Knowledge of microservicebased application development principles and practices.
    • Experience in developing and managing applications with high transactions per second and high availability.
    • Knowledge of caching mechanisms is a plus.
    • Experience working in Agile projects.
    • Technical certifications in relevant skill sets will be an added advantage.
    • Intermediate knowledge of infrastructure technologies and components, with familiarity with cloud computing.
    • Experience with eventdriven/microservices architecture for high availability/distributed systems.
    • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as GIT and code build tools like IntelliJ, Redhat JBoss, etc., including DevOps concepts and CI/CD tools.
