    JOB OVERVIEW

    Plan A Technologies is looking for an MS SQL Server DB developer. This is a fast-paced job with room for significant career growth.

    Please note: you must have at least 5+ years of experience as a MS SQL Server Developer or Database Developer to be considered for this role.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITY

    • Develop, maintain, and optimize database solutions using SQL Server.
    • Write efficient T-SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
    • Perform database schema design, normalization, and optimization.
    • Collaborate with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to understand database requirements.
    • Optimize database performance through query optimization and indexing.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve database issues such as performance bottlenecks and data corruption.
    • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
    • Stay updated on emerging database technologies and trends.

    EXPERIENCE

    • 5-7 years of experience as a MS SQL Server Developer or Database Developer.
    • Proficiency in T-SQL and experience with SQL Server versions (2012/2014/2016/2019).
    • Strong understanding of database concepts including normalization, indexing, and transactions.
    • Experience with database administration tasks such as backup, recovery, and security.
    • Familiarity with ETL tools for data integration (e.g., SSIS, Azure Data Factory).
    • Knowledge in SSRS is an advantage.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication skills: must have at least Upper-Intermediate-level English (both verbal and written)
    • Advanced problem-solving abilities, research, and learning skills
    • Ability to work with engineers in multiple countries
    • Must have an organized and analytical working style, and the ability to plan your own work
    • Initiative and drive to do great things
