What You'll Bring:

Hands on abinitio, api, java web server, postgres/linux based dbs, sql query and production support work including trouble shooting, patch management and performance tuning.
Meeting SLA's of Uptime, response time and throughput as defined by business
Tasks involved in the administration of the Ab Initio tools, api, mapr, java web server and ETL. Manage Tasks with focus on the access, server and file system management, licensing, administering metadata hub, Operational Console, troubleshooting and root cause analysis of environmental issues, providing guidance for ETL developers on the design and integration of the ETL components and resolving technical and data centric issues.(optional)
Should be able to interact with Technical Partners, Discuss technical issues and find solutions
Supervise outsourced work
Coordinate with various teams to manage small projects (coordination and production support role. No development)
Automation of support tasks.
Abinitio, Api, Tomcat SME, java web server within the RUN team for support tasks at L1 and above.
Required to work in business time and weekend shifts with on call.

Impact You'll Make:

Knowledge of concepts in ETL (Extraction, Transformation and Loading) and EAI (Enterprise Application Integration) and realtime analytics in Abinitio.
Should be expert in writing and reviewing SQL queries
Should be capable in administering, performance tuning and handling database (Postgres or other unix based databases) and abinitio control center.
Well versed with abinitio control center, key management, serial and mfs filesystems concepts with hands on experience.
Should be very good in DB concepts including access control, monitoring, backup and performance tuning
Knowledge of Unix / Linux
Knowledge of web server technologies will be advantage.
Should be willing to learn new technology and work on it apart from Abinitio.
Skills to write shell scripts will be an advantage. If it is not present you will be expected to learn this
Good communication skills and prior experience of production support
