JOB DESCRIPTION


The tasks a Gas Cutter is expected to perform include
:Cutting metal to required shape and size by gas flame, either manually or by machine.

Examining material to be cut and marking it according to instructions or specifications.

The tasks a Gas Cutter is expected to perform include:

  • Cutting metal to required shape and size by gas flame, either manually or by machine
  • Examining material to be cut and marking it according to instructions or specifications
  • Mounting template and setting machine to cut to specifications
  • Making necessary connections and fitting the required size of nozzle or burner into the torch
  • Guiding flame by hand or by machine along the cutting line at required speed
  • Releasing and regulating flow of gas in nozzle or burner

Salary:

The salary for this position will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
