    About the Job Title and Company:

    Summary of This Role

    The Manager of Network Platform plays a vital role in the Merchant Enterprise Network Services Organization, collaborating with Architecture, Operations, and Application teams. Reporting to the Senior Director of Merchant Enterprise Network Services, this position involves managing various activities within the department. Responsibilities include leading, coaching, and overseeing staff work, as well as managing budgets. The Manager of Network Platform supervises operational support for the Global Payments Merchant Network, focusing on refining best practices and enhancing engineering and operational excellence. The role involves aligning the team with the company's vision, core values, and objectives. The individual in this position is expected to foster a cohesive work environment, inspiring and motivating team members in line with the organizational culture.

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee day-to-day networking operations for the Merchant Network
    • Drive completion of Requests, Incidents, and Changes assigned to the Network Platform team
    • Lead Incident calls to resolution
    • Ensure team meets established KPIs
    • Participate in Root Cause Analysis calls to enhance network environment
    • Ensure compliance of network environment with audit standards
    • Assist in implementing automation for the Enterprise Networking Organization
    • Drive team efforts to maintain updated diagrams and documentation
    • Develop short and long-term goals aligned with corporate objectives
    • Strengthen partnerships and promote team culture
    • Ensure leadership transparency with regular reports for visibility and alignment
    • Establish touch points with key partners to enhance efficiencies
    • Review daily activities and deliveries within the domain
    • Seek alignment with reference architecture
    • Identify and resolve issues that may impact the department
    • Prepare professional reports, documents, diagrams, and correspondence

    Requirements:

    Minimum Qualifications

    • At least 1 year of education in a network skill domain through on-the-job experience and training
    • 4+ years of management experience
    • 4+ years of corporate leadership experience
    • Experience with Cisco routers and switches

      • Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or higher in a computer-related field
    • 4+ years in the financial technology industry
