    Summary of This Role

    The Manager of Network Platform will work for the Merchant Enterprise Network Services Organization as a collaborator with the Architecture, Operations and Application teams. This role, reporting to the Sr. Director of Merchant Enterprise Network Services, performs broad management of planning, organizing, coordinating, administering and delivering on activities for the department. This position will be required to lead, coach, and advance the work of staff and provide oversight of budgets. The Manager of Network Platform will oversee the operational support for the Global Payments Merchant Network. This person will work to develop and refine best practices, elevate engineering and operational excellence as well as, help the team align with the Global Payments vision, core values and goals. The individual in this role will be expected to work collaboratively with leadership and promote a healthy work environment which fosters team alignment within the organization. The Manager of Network Platform will demonstrate that they can relate to the Network Platform staff to inspire them, build trust, and motivate them in a direction consistent with the leadership culture. This position will participate in an on-call management rotation.

    What Part Will You Play?

  • Oversees the day-to-day operations of networking needs for the Merchant Network of routers, switches, load balancers,
  • Work to drive completion for Requests, Incidents and Changes assigned to the Network Platform team
  • Drive Incident calls to completion
  • Drive the team to established KPIs
  • Participate in Root Cause Analysis calls to help in improving the network environment
  • Responsible for driving and maintaining current software and hardware on all Network Platform managed equipment
  • Responsible for keeping the network environment compliant for audits such as PCI, SOX, etc
  • Assist in driving automation for the Enterprise Networking Organization
  • Continuously strive to improve team efficiencies in maintaining the Network infrastructure
  • Drive the Network team to maintain up-to-date diagrams and documentation
  • Develops long and short term goals for solutions and delivery to align with corporate goals
  • Continuously builds strong partnerships and fosters a team culture
  • Maintains leadership transparency with reports to ensure visibility and alignment
  • Establish regular touch points with key partners to help drive efficiencies
  • Plans and reviews the daily activities and delivery within domain
  • Seeks and produces alignment with reference architecture
  • Identifies issues which may impact the department, takes appropriate steps to resolve problems
  • Interprets and applies rules, regulations, policies and procedures set forth
  • Prepares professional reports, documents, diagrams and correspondence

    • What Are We Looking For in This Role?

    Minimum Qualifications

  • 1+ years of education in a network skill domain via on the job experience and training
  • 4+ years of management experience
  • 4+ years of corporate leadership experience
  • Experience working with Cisco routers and switches

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a computer-related field
  • 4+ years within financial technology industry
