Business Analyst (BA functions, roles and responsibilities)

Proficient in using SQL (working knowledge and experience of using SQL queries)

Working knowledge of Unix

Having knowledge of Waterfall and agile ways of working.

Good hands on producing/authoring BA artefact, BRDs, FRDs etc.

Work independently with business and stake holders. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (comfortable in written and verbal communications) to facilitate with users from around the world and from different cultural backgrounds), relationship management and flexible interpersonal skills,

Ability to Lead analysis to move the assigned tasks to closure

Ability to apply a structured approach to the management and planning of their own work (able to efficiently manage multiple tasks, prioritizing appropriately and transparently)

Able to clearly articulate the project lifecycle and application development process including best practice methodologies and an uncompromising eye for quality

Educated to degree level or equivalent

Mandatory skills

Prior experience in Global Markets/Investment Banking knowledge preferably in regulatory/compliance related projects is mandatory

Desired/ Secondary skills

Proven, significant and demonstrable experience of analyzing and documenting business requirements for global applications
