About The Role

What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, document, test and debug new and existing configuration management patterns and infrastructure as code.
  • Automate both software and infrastructure delivery (Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, Cloudformation, Terraform).
  • Build and maintain monitoring, alerting, and trending operational tools (CloudWatch, New Relic, Splunk, ELK, Grafana).
  • Support 24x7 oncall rotation.
  • Research and evaluate new technologies.

Must Have:


  • 5+ years of DevOps experience supporting sizeable cloud and colocation resources
  • 5+ years hands on experience with AWS including CloudFormation, Lambda, ECS, EC2, VPC, etc.
  • Knowledge of one or more of the configuration management tools
  • Chef, Ansible, Puppet, and knowledge IAC, containerization and orchestration (Terraform, Docker & Kubernetes)
  • Experience with systems administration (Linux) web servers, IP networking, DNS, SSL certificates, etc.
  • Experience with backend data stores such as MySQL, DynamoDB, Redis, or ElasticSearch
  • Experience with industry frameworks and methodologies: ITIL/Agile/Scrum/DevOps/SRE
