    Description

    Responsibilities

  • Lead the piloting and commercialization of state-of-the-art molecules and processes emerging from our R&D initiatives.
  • Prepare comprehensive engineering packages geared towards enhancing capacity and reducing costs, thus optimizing our processes.
  • Create process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, process and instrumentation process datasheets, and layouts to shape the trajectory of our projects.
  • Resolve issues related to process equipment and production procedures, ensuring seamless operations, and tackling challenges with ingenuity.
  • Take ownership of concept design, basic engineering and support for detailed engineering through stage gate process, ensuring excellence throughout each phase.
  • Drive the selection of equipment and mapping/capacity planning, making strategic decisions pivotal to project success.
  • Offer procurement assistance for process equipment, collaborating seamlessly with procurement team to fulfill project requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineering consultants, leveraging their industry expertise to improve project outcomes.
  • Contribute to safety reviews such as Process Risk Analysis, HAZOP (Hazard and Operability Study), advocating for a culture of safety and operational efficiency.
  • Actively participate in technology upgrades and introductions, ensuring our projects remain at the forefront of industry innovation.

    • Requirements

  • Candidates with a BE/ME/B.Tech/M.Tech in Chemical Engineering are preferred.
  • A minimum of 9 years of experience in Process Engineering is required, with a proven track record in project management, especially in Capex projects.
  • We are in search of an experienced chemical engineer for the position, who should be capable of independently addressing plant issues and providing solutions.
  • Work experience in fine chemicals plant operation is mandatory. Experience exclusively within a research lab environment will not meet the requirement.
