Job Discerption

We are seeking a talented and creative Designer Intern to join our team in the retail industry. This internship offers hands-on experience in various aspects of design, including product design, graphic design, and visual merchandising, providing an excellent opportunity for learning and professional growth in a dynamic retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Design:
Assist in the design and development of new products, including apparel, accessories, home goods, or other merchandise categories, from concept ideation to final production, ensuring alignment with brand aesthetics and market trends.

Photography and Editing:
Assist in capturing and editing product photos for use in marketing materials, e-commerce websites, and social media platforms, ensuring high-quality images that showcase products in the best light.

Trend Research:
Stay updated on current design trends, color palettes, and materials in the retail industry, conducting research and mood boards to inspire and inform design decisions across product categories and marketing campaigns.

Sample Management:
Assist in managing product samples, including organizing, labeling, and maintaining an inventory of samples for design presentations, photo shoots, and other design-related activities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, merchandising, and product development, to ensure alignment and cohesion in design concepts and executions across various channels and touchpoints.

Requirements:

Currently enrolled in a degree program or recent graduate with a focus on design, fashion design, graphic design, visual merchandising, or related field.

Proficiency in design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Coral Draw/ clo3d), and other relevant design tools.

Strong creativity and artistic skills, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.

Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment with tight deadlines.

Passion for design, fashion, and retail, with a desire to learn and grow in a creative and dynamic industry.
