About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Quantitative Analytics Associate Manager...
In this role, you will:
- Supervise a small team responsible for the creation, implementation, and validation of complex financial models
- Analyze market, credit, counterparty and operational risk to forecast loses and compute capital requirements
- Determine scope and prioritization of work in consultation with senior managers
- Participate in the development of strategy, policies, procedures, and organizational controls with model users, developers, validators and technology
- Make day to day decisions to ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory reporting is up to date for capitalization requirements
- Provide a broad knowledge of financial products, portfolios and markets, as well as familiarity with various mathematical techniques
- Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including senior managers
- Lead team to achieve objectives
- Interface with internal and external audit or regulators
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Quantitative Analytics
- Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent
Required Qualifications, International:
- 12+ Experience in Quantitative Analytics, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Leadership and team management experience of more than 8 years
Desired Qualifications:
- Have managed Tableau/Power Bi and reporting and dashboarding team members
- PMP Trained/Certified and an avid Jira or similar platform user
- Six sigma Black Belt Certified from recognized institute
- Hands on With SQL and advanced knowledge of Python for Machine learning
- Have developed products for Business using Machine learning
- Trained on any cloud platform like Azure/AWS or GCP.
- Post graduate degree from a recognized university
Job Expectations:
- Support new business transition and work with global partners
- Grow and manage a large team which works on multiple technologies like SAS, SQL, Python, Tableau, Oracle, Power BI, Sales force etc.
- Need to support the team training and mentoring programs
- Provide SME guidance to the team on various technical issues related to Dashboarding, Querying and Machine Learning.
- Support the full employee life cycle
