Description

Responsibilities:


  • Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of children aged 3-5 years.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where children feel safe, valued, and supported.
  • Support in preparing and organizing materials, resources, and equipment required for daily lessons and activities.
  • Assist with maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the classroom, including organizing learning centers and play areas.
  • Assist children with daily routines, such as toileting, handwashing, and dressing, promoting independence and self-help skills.
  • Monitor and supervise children during indoor and outdoor playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Observe and document children's progress, behavior, and development, and provide feedback to the lead teacher and parents when necessary.
  • Assist in evaluating children's learning and development through assessments and informal observations.
  • Collaborate with the lead teacher and other staff members to plan and participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, and field trips.
  • Maintain open and effective communication with parents, addressing their concerns and sharing updates on their child's progress.
  • Continuously update your knowledge and skills through professional development opportunities and stay updated with best practices in early childhood education.

Qualifications:


  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; a degree or certification in Early Childhood Education or a related field is bonus.
  • Passion for working with young children and a genuine interest in their development and well-being.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to create a nurturing and supportive environment for young learners.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and follow instructions from the lead teacher.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to assist with lesson planning and classroom management.
  • Basic knowledge of child development theories and early childhood education principles.
  • Prior experience working with young children, such as volunteering or internships, is a plus but not required.

Salary:
₹17, ₹19,000.00 per month
