Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sous Chef at our Bengaluru location. The Sous Chef will assist in managing kitchen operations, planning and preparing meals, maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene, and supervising kitchen staff. The role also encompasses ensuring compliance with health and safety guidelines and contributing to menu development while keeping up with culinary trends.
Qualifications
- Experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, and understanding of diverse cuisines
- Expertise in kitchen management, inventory control, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace
- Strong leadership, staff supervision, and team collaboration skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, hygiene standards, and quality assurance practices
- Creativity and innovation in developing new recipes and menus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment under pressure
- Relevant culinary certifications or a degree in Culinary Arts is a plus
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or similar role is advantageous
