Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
Support building end to end CPQ roadmap using industry best practices and based on Weir needs.

  • Build detailed understanding of order to delivery process flows and the relationship between those process flows including typical enterprise systems like CRM, ERP, PLM.
  • Translate business needs, enterprise guidelines and software engineering best practices into solution level architecture and design.
  • Define, build and support CPQ features and customizations
  • Meet and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to establish scope, and requirements for enhancements in the existing implementation
  • Perform gap analysis between current and desired solution states in terms of capabilities and efforts to aid planning.
  • Understand and track latest trends in CPQ domain and how this applies to the teams current and future work and maintain a transformation roadmap for the team.
  • Partnering with technology groups, product management and regional engineering teams to define CPQ/DA system requirements
  • Support in redesigning existing product lines to improve modularity and suitability for CTO implementation
  • Training colleagues throughout the organization to develop and maintain CPQ solution and design automation systems and to assist in driving modular design principles throughout the group
  • Working with product line management, aftersales and other disciplines to identify opportunities to optimize engineering designs and systems as required to support the business in the migration from a predominately ETO to CTO operational model
  • Review documentation of system architecture and automation systems to ensure clarity for future users and system owners
  • Engagement with IS&T and Engineering Systems to ensure that IT infrastructure, particularly PDM, ERP and CRM integration is fit for purpose
  • Reviewing the work procedures and guidelines to support the independent development of future CPQ/DA systems
  • Design and develop rich UX and customer journeys aligned to program deliverables
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvements in processes and systems to enhance team performance
  • Leads and coordinates with team members to deliver specified, measurable deliverables. Manage, mentor and motivating team members in their career path
  • Own the complete solution, mentor/support team to resolve issues and deliver projects to agreed specifications, time and budget.
  • Accountable to deliver agreed Team KPIs and ensure committed business outcomes are delivered on time and within agreed costs.
  • Ensure continuous improvements to ways of working, processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of team. Provide necessary guidance and mentorship to improve team productivity.
  • Provide expertise based on indepth knowledge in CPQ domain to support wider decisionmaking.
  • Develop and maintain key relationships internally and externally, to support operational performance
  • Contribute towards business planning through forecasting and scenario analysis based on understanding of internal drivers and the external environment

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

  • Must have degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic or related discipline with at least 16 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Should have ability to influence diverse multidisciplinary groups to achieve overall project goals with and without formal structural authority.
  • Must have rich experience with SDLC, Agile project management. Preferable to have PMP certified
