The Role: Performance Test Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Analyze NFRs, create and execute Perf test plans and scenarios, integrate in CI
• Identify, isolate, and troubleshoot performance issues, work with development teams to resolve them
• Conduct performance testing, analysis and provide recommendations for optimization
• Execute and maintain performance test suites to ensure continuous testing coverage
• Collaborate with the development and operations teams to ensure optimal performance
• Prepare performance analysis reports and provide recommendations for the team
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in performance testing

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and a minimum 5 to 10 years of experience as a Performance testing engineer
• Experience with Apache JMeter, Grafana
• Experience with testing web applications, APIs and DB
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Solid understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
